The Saint Leo University Skills Academy was created in 2020 to help students of all ages and backgrounds learn throughout life. Our certificate and skills courses feature a variety of trending topics and can help students gain new skills and knowledge in just a few weeks. Courses are flexible and offered online, in-person, or as live virtual sessions.
Saint Leo University faculty and current industry experts collaborate to build course content on relevant industry topics and current best practices. students benefit from engaging in discussion boards with their peers and instructors.
Digital Badges
All certificate and skills courses offer a digital badge upon completion. This visual, online representation of earning a new skill can be placed on resumes and on personal social media channels. Digital badges are provided by Acclaim, our official badge partner, via email. The email will contain information on how to claim and share badges.
Each badge contains metadata that allows anyone to understand the skills, knowledge and actions taken to earn the badge. Metadata will show who the badge was issue by, who it was issued to, date of issue, skills verified by the badge, and any accrediting information, if applicable. Payment Information
The fee for each skills course or certificate program is included in the program description and varies depending on course length and class size. Course fees may be paid by credit card and is due at the time of registration.
Refunds
To receive a full course fees refund, you must cancel your registration by 5 p.m. ET on the refund deadline date for the course. Any course fees under $100 are non-refundable. Non-credit courses are not pro-rated for dropped courses. All refund deadlines are seven dates prior to the start of the course session start date.
