School Safety Education Training Program

School violence is a significant public health issue in the United States and is everyone’s problem to solve. This School Safety Education Program empowers parents, faculty, and staff to facilitate sustainable school violence intervention at the lowest assessment threshold. Developed by national leading school safety experts, this school safety education training program trains the participants to implement the National Sheriffs’ Association’s School Safety Resolution: recommended standard practices for the prevention and mitigation of school violence. By completing this program, you will have been trained to create and promote a safe school climate built on a culture of safety, respect, and trust.

 The program is organized into 3 parts and a total of 9 learning modules. There is a knowledge check at the end of each topic. Following the successful completion of all training modules and knowledge checks is a final examination which must be passed with a score of at least 80% for a certificate of completion to be issued.

By completing this program, you will have been trained to create and promote a safe school climate built on a culture of safety, respect, and trust.
